Our MissionTo promote, support, and elevate the vital role of home health care workers by providing access to education and subsidized transportation, improving their quality of life — and ultimately, patient outcomes.
Many home health workers earn just above minimum wage and depend on public transportation to reach patients’ homes. On Long Island, that often means 2.5-hour commutes each way, involving trains, buses, and long walks. The time, cost, and exhaustion of this daily journey often prevent workers from accepting patients far from transit lines — leaving hundreds of seniors without needed home care.
In some heartbreaking cases, patients have been found deceased alone after days of waiting for care.
ATHC (All Things Health Care) is working to change that — by fighting for fair pay and creating subsidized transportation solutions to ensure every home health worker can reach every patient in need.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the cause.
